Earnings per hour — the number that actually matters. A survey paying $3 that takes 20 minutes is worse than a survey paying $1 that takes 4 minutes.

Payment methods — PayPal, gift cards, and bank transfer are the standards. Platforms that only offer gift cards are less flexible.

Don’t sign up for one and stop there. The users who earn the most from surveys are on three to five platforms simultaneously. When one has nothing available, another does. It takes an extra twenty minutes to set up but makes a meaningful difference to your monthly earnings.
